Ideas for Scrapbook Pages
- The most important thing one should remember is to make use of good quality pages. Using a good quality paper for your scrapbook is extremely important. Don’t use a cheap or a bogus quality paper, it will affect your presentation and over time, quality pages will maintain themselves.
- Another crucial factor is that the papers used in the scrapbook should be acid-free. Acid-free paper will not spoil like non acid-free paper.
- The page used should be lignin-free in order to avoid any problems.
- Before selecting the number of pages to use, determine how many pictures or photos you have. There is only a finite amount of space for each page. Give each entity some room on each page. Don’t clutter the page with too much information.
- There are various types of ready-made scrapbooks available in the market, but if you want to demonstrate your creativity, give it a shot. Producing scrapbooks can be a lot of fun.
- The standard and most widely used scrapbooks have round about 40-50 sheets.
- The color pattern varies according to the choice of the user. If you’re pasting more photos and pictures and if you’re using lots of text you should use light color paper.
- Now a day’s most people prefer to use origami papers. Origami papers are available with a wide range of choices with various sizes.
- The cutting of the paper is very important. If done poorly, it will make your whole scrapbook look shabby and unkempt. Use the tools available to make it right. Rulers for cutting, templates for edging, stamps, and stickers all make it easy to do it right.
- Blades such as cutting blades or ripple blades are very useful to cut pages. They are also readily available at any scrapbooking outlet, be it online or brick and mortar operations.
- If you’re not planning deal with the paper yourself and are looking for ready made paper then go to lots of stores or websites. The more options you have, the more likely it is that you will find papers with good color combinations and quality.
- If you want more artistic paper then look for the papers with light shades background and decent designs.
- There is also wide range of papers of various color combinations available in the market so look for those which are most suitable for your photos, pictures and text.
